Pros

- The overall company focus is solid. The two acquisitions and market focus all seem great and the business is growing. - DEI is a continuing focus. - The product itself is solid. It has its issues, but overall it's got a decent niche in the market. - No jerks. In my time at FWI, I never really met anyone that I just think is a jerk. - Work/life balance. Never really need to work nights/weekends.

Cons

- Not much learning and growing going on. It's a place you can be hired to do a job, punch in 9-5, do it fine, and move on. - Have to fight tooth and nail for any change. Many managers have been there for way too long. They are stuck in their ways and not adapting to new processes and technologies. - As another review mentioned, they're great at asking for feedback, but there's little-to-no actions on the feedback. Just lip service. - Lack of accountability. People can continually underperform and never face repercussions. This manifests in the language management uses as well, never being accountable for their own actions. TL;DR is that the management is weak.

Thank you for your review. We agree that we get to work with some of the most talented people in the industry here at FWI and value work-life balance tremendously. Regarding the lack of learning and growing opportunities, we are excited to say that over 55 FWI employees have received promotions since January 2021. There are many opportunities for professional development leading to career advancements such as the mentorship program and Emerging Leaders. FWI views career development and advancement as a partnership between the Employee, Manager, and People Operations. If you are currently at FWI and are interested in any of these programs and training opportunities, please reach out to our People Operations Team - they will be more than happy to provide guidance and answers for you to get involved.
