Young and hungry business with a ton of upside and a great product.

Pros

Talented staff. Top of the line technology. CEO takes a hands on approach which shows his passion for the product. Rapidly growing company that realizes that with quick growth can bring enormous challenges. Not afraid to make mistakes and improve upon them. Lots of fun activities from yoga classes, hikes with executives, golf outings, the list goes on and on.

Cons

Better procedures for employee reviews. It is not necessary to give a raise but it is always good to let the staff know how they are doing. The building can be a bit cramped but it is a neat space. Parking is a huge challenge due to construction but they have managed to deal with it pretty well.

Pros

The company has a great product, but a lot of challenges with smooth implementations. There are some great people working in the trenches which is one of the few bright spots. As a junior rep, you'll make a lot of cold calls which will teach you some good basic skills.

Cons

The CEO has no other business experience since graduating college and for some reason is unwilling to listen to the smart people who get hired. The Sr Exec's who report to him don't deliver a clear picture of what's actually happening in the company and are busy self-promoting. Lots of favoritism to employees who have been there since the beginning. The market is very crowded which limits potential growth and commission potential.

A Niche Product with No Career Prospects

Pros

The product may be the most advanced in the industry. The team is ambitious in a saturated digital signage market.

Cons

Personal.... No mentorship programs - you're on your own to navigate the highly political environment Haphazard promotion process, decisions ultimately rise to the CEO Time off is not encouraged for non-sales resources given the backlog of work Sales commissions change regularly and take forever to process Industry.... The product is so complex that it is only relevant to a small market segment, limited growth potential Company is not well regarded by the industry, has a target on its back Partnership with this company is nearly impossible; it has capped its own growth
