They do take care of their employees in terms of helping and throw great parties.

Cons

Advancement opportunities were very competitive and I didn't like the sales aspect. They expected a lot from the head teller position. The branches were short staff so they expect people to do the job 2 people. I had to run back and forth between the teller line and the platform.

Nepotism. Everyone seems to be related or a friend. It feels like that determines promotions at times.

I have been a Bethpage employee for 14 years and it is truly one of the best companies I have worked for. They believe in the philosophy of promoting within and put their member's first when making decisions. It is a company that strongly believes in the philosophy of "giving back" to the community we serve.
