Pros

Genuine care for clients. Open-door policy. Zero-tolerance for retaliation. Willingness to listen to employee concerns/complaints/comments/ideas. Free training to all employees, clients, and support teams.

Cons

HR is intimidating especially to entry-level employees, but also lower-level supervisors. Close to zero diversity in supervisors/managers/directors. Culture of hierarchy from direct-care employees to management rather than collaboration.

Pros

AMAZING culture. People are kind, generous and collaborative. Room to grow in your job and flexibility of work schedule. Good benefits. Leadership who listens and wants to make change happen.

Cons

Rapid growth and expansion causing rapid change. Great opportunity to learn and grow. Lower salary than with for-profit but that's the nature of the game.
