Pros

Kids made it bearable thankfully

Cons

I was excited to work at Fraser yet it is the worst, most corrupt & toxic work environment I have ever been exposed to. Management: -This place is run by BULLIES! Within the first month someone made up a lie about me & I was sent home suspended! From then on I was bullied & harassed biweekly over little things like “ not keeping clients within distance or interacting with them” which other staff also failed to do. I was micromanaged & constantly belittled by my supervisor & then the management. That is workplace harassment! -Instead of finding healthy ways to cope with stress & taking accountability these bullies took it out on me & others. I had a job working with kids that took my back 3 times! So clearly I am not the problem. -They tend to find fault with any & every employee especially new ones & I believe part of it is that they do not want to give out hiring bonuses. -They made constant changes, the schedule was not posted until 5 minutes beforehand & they continually criticized every little thing we did. -It’s ironic how they appear so liberal yet as a woman I have been treated worse by these female managers than I have ever been treated by male managers. It’s time we hold toxic female managers as accountable as male managers because this is not equality, it’s enablement. -They do not care about the clients & only see them as a profit & everything needs to be billable. If an organization sees kids as profit then no wonder it’s run by bullies. -There is literally no training & everything I learned I had to by asking because they care more about saving money than investing time & money to keep employees. Kids: -Most of the kids are sweet but some are a threat to staff. I have seen a kid beat the back of staff with no repercussions, kids biting, slapping & pulling hair with no consequences. That is workplace abuse & could seriously endanger someone with physical problems or put them at risk of ingesting a deadly disease. -These children are seen as so much dumber than they are & are forced to do trials that are of no help. How does having a child put a ball in a cup repeatedly help them in the real world?! Maybe one day they’ll be good at beer pong. -These kids are seen profit & any real interaction with them is looked down upon unless you are forced to do pointless & mundane trials. I have seen kids cry because they don’t want to be forced to do trials & I have seen kids being discharged with no real ability to function in the real world. This ABA therapy disables kids & is a waste of their life & future. These bright kids are dumbed down so they can stay in the system forever for financial profit. I know several adults who are autistic & are thriving without ever having any exposure to ABA. Employees -They treat employees as replaceable & the turn out rate is too high. In the 4 months that I worked there more than half of the staff whether behavior technicians or higher ups quit or switched locations. So the fact that management has the time & energy to bully staff to the point of quitting is beyond me. -The employees that stay bully each other or new employees & create a toxic work environment. -I would say most employees are good people but the ones that stay are miserable & take it out on staff just like management does. Conclusion: I am beyond shocked that this place is open & operating because they see the kids as profit & staff as disposable. The harassment & bullying of employees, worker abuse by clients & viewing clients as profits are all factors that point to the fact that FRASER needs to be investigated. If you are looking to work here please avoid at all costs & do not make the same mistake I made. It is not worth it & you may be their next victim of workplace harassment. This place will one day face severe consequences for their actions & that gives me peace. You cannot allow this type of hostility to go on without serious repercussions & one day they will face their karma. If you are a parent please look elsewhere, this greedy & corrupt organization could do without your insurance payout.

Pros

Not all homes are the same, clients were great, outside support services great. Great nursing staff.

Cons

Were not honest when interviewing about the position. Had good policies in place, but never backed up their staff in crisis situations, passed the buck. Rushed in training, due to lack of staff. Lots of gossiping among peers, no accountability. If short staffed, seemed like they got desperate and would hire any one.
