      Pros

      Love working here. The people I work with really make the work that much easier, and I love the work as well. It keeps me busy throughout the day and I'm pretty satisfied with what I accomplish.

      Cons

      The pay, while alright, is not the best. Departments have 'caps' with how much you can make, despite how long you've worked there. You could be in a department for 20 years and earn $17 and unable to get more than that. The only way to earn more, is if that cap increases overall. Or, if you apply for a higher position. Also, while I love the people I work with, management encourages folks to move up and move stores. So if there's a team you really like working with, there's no guarantee that it will stay like that after a year.

      Pros

      The best reasons to work at Fred Meyer is the environment, everyone is so friendly.

      Cons

      However, the worst reason to work there would be management and how poor their decision making skills are and that they won't stand up for their customers. They protect the employees that harrass women and vendors. Great environment if management would step it up.
