Pros

50% anytime discount on most Fresh products $1000 annual employee gratis Free full-sized product samples following product launch Occasional discounts on other LVMH brands

Cons

Despite being one of the younger boutique brands in LVMH's cosmetics and perfumes portfolio, Fresh is saddled with LVMH's antediluvian infrastructure and political work culture. Like most large legacy employers of its ilk, Fresh and LVMH are behind the technology curve: Lotus Notes, old CRM, and very paper-based workflow. (I swear many of the employees who work in corporate do most of their work via copy machine, fax, and paper clips.) Hiring practices are based mostly on fit, so some of the employees aren't too bright. The corporate work environment seems to be dominated by older women, many of whom are inefficient because of technical incompetence and a tendency to waste time on gossip. No 401(k) match and limited healthcare plans.

Pros

Good brand, products and some people who have been here for a long time

Cons

HR team seems to have a hatred again all people except their own team. All the rumor mill is coming from them and they will paint you in a bad light if you didn't say what they want to hear. They operate like a police and have no empathy towards anyone except their own.

Pros

LVMH private sales. I'll miss those for sure.

Cons

If you're unhappy at your current job and are considering an open role at this company, the right opportunity will come your way. Fresh is not that opportunity. As someone else mentioned, "there are tons of vacant positions, any job you accept here will mean you are taking on 5 peoples jobs". Do not rush into your next move just for this company. Even if the compensation seems appealing, there are better opportunities out there. This place like ignoring the red flags on the first date because they were hot and then you got to their place and they didn't have a headboard or toilet paper. If you choose to ignore this advice, you may find that, from day one, dissatisfaction/the feeling of misery is apparent across all teams. This is New York—you’ve likely worked hard to get to where you are. Taking this job will hinder your career and growth, as you will not have any autonomy. 100% of the decision-making is driven by C-Suite directives on power trips, with zero regard for expert input. The company has explored various marketing strategies, but remains a product people tried years ago but never revisited, as it fails to deliver as advertised especially for the price. The HR team lacks professionalism. I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re making business decisions based on ChatGPT.
