There are far better places to work

Pros

There is a love and passion for the product amongst the organization. This is the only real true "benefit" of working at Fresh - their true benefits package, like health insurance, parental leave, 401k, holidays + PTO are actually under par for the industry

Cons

There are unfortunately MAJOR downsides at Fresh. Leadership has no clear direction or strategy and is often very reactive and both cruel and confusing in communication. There are no processes built, tools, or guiding principles to help with the day to day making each person's job less efficient. Growth is not an opportunity at Fresh. Don't walk - RUN - the other way if you appreciate work/life balance, a healthy positive culture, strong benefits, growth, and a company that values you.

Pros

-Generous gratis -401k match -Vacation and health benefits

Cons

This company has gone down the drain in the past two years. For a company that is as successful as they are, there is absolutely no structure. Turnover has been astronomical, and a large part is due to terrible management, a useless HR team, a CEO that can never been seen or found. They preach “diversity and inclusion” but don’t practice it in terms of being diverse or inclusive. Everything is very fake and performative. Growth is dependent on your relationships with upper management and not your work and qualifications. The wrong people are in charge and it’s evident in the rate of turnover just in the last year. HR provides no support, they might as well be nonexistent. Truthfully, this used to be an amazing company to work for. What was once a “family”, is now a popularity contest. They have proven that time and time again they view their employees as disposable. Pay is horrendous. No room for growth. I can’t imagine people working here for longer than a year anymore. All of the tenured employees have left as a result of new management that is cruel, unorganized and doesn’t care about anyone but the $. If you want to be treated like trash, then by all means apply.

Pros

Apart from leadership, some of the most incredible people I have ever worked with. The company story, founders, and original spirit of the brand, although very lacking in the current state of fresh, really make you feel attached to the brand. The products are actually very good even though marketing and product development refuse to highlight the important claims, do compelling testing, or have before and afters that feature anyone without already perfect skin.

Cons

I think the review below about being on the Titanic is pretty accurate if the captain of the ship purposely rammed into the iceberg and then turned and asked his crew why they were sinking. The priority at Fresh is to find someone (usually down the chain) to blame for the company's hemorrhaging bottom line instead of putting in the work to fix it. Everyone is seemingly afraid of the person above them and is unwilling to tell the emperor he has no clothes. Last thing I'll highlight as a huge con is that if you work on the global team, you are taking on the work for both global and the NA market because global leadership refuses to let that market operate on their own. NA is essentially a vestigial organ of the company that lost a lot of autonomy but still gets beaten up if numbers aren't good. And to top it off, the Global team spends so much time catering to one single-market that we don't even know how to cater to the NA market.... even though the global team are all NA consumers. Bonus Con: Don't go to HR for anything. Some of the people are great, but overall have never seen HR leadership who have such a hatred for the people they supposedly advocate for.
