Pros

Work From Home Chance to make extra money via commission.

Cons

Pay Based on Performance The Performance Requirements that quantify pay changed a few months ago to a system that does not reward the employee for doing their job well, but getting the customer off the phone quicker. Low pay rate compared to other Telecom companies for Technical Support Always being micromanaged. Encouraged to reach out to higher tiers for help, and coaches are often no where to be found and other resources often take over 20 minutes to reach. This is all happening while customer is on the line. Company does not care about you as a person. You are an object. Was promised advancement opportunities. It been over two years without a single chance being offered, and no one has been hired for almost half a full year. Positions have in fact been devolved and downgraded to working on the phones again both eliminating potential advancement opportunities Shifts are not static. Can work a totally different shift every 3 months. Shift not determined by seniority but Arbitrary statistic gathered. If asked about which stats are used will either get no answer or various different ones.

Pros

The individual people who make up the company, front line folks up to manager are great contributors to the business who have a concern for the customer.

Cons

Lack of information or communication is never disseminated down to people who work, lack of vision, Directors and above do not have the fundamental business concept on how business should be run. Think hard and twice about working for Frontier, it will be great at first, then reality will set in.
