Pros

A chance to get your feet wet if you have very minimal experience in a help desk position

Cons

Managers promise project time but never follow up and are extremely unprofessional. Software developers push out new builds with very minimal effort to help the less experienced to understand, causing experienced agents to basically retrain them. "Senior Techs" are allocated based on sells and not actual technical expertise, ultimately wasting company time when training. No real action plans to address recurring issues that is effecting every statistic that they rate your performance with, that they will fire you for if it's low. Irate customers almost every call. Management convinced that we would be on the late shift for only the first shift bid, did not follow through. Management plays a lot of favoritism and makes female workers uncomfortable.

Pros

They revamped the attendance policy. So now if you get perfect attendance for 30 days, you'll get .5 points taken off. However, they just can't do something nice like update the attendance policy without sticking it to their employees. If you're over your breaks/lunches by 20 minutes total in 1 calendar month you'll get 1 whole point. They're in the Novel building complex, so you can go to the Eastbay Cafe on your lunch.

Cons

They use to have a bonus structure that was worth showing up to work, and dealing with the crap management was pushing. They went from get X amount of surveys back and you're above 75% customer satisfaction you'd get $10 per survey returned. A good rep was able to pull in 700-1000 extra a month. Now they've taken it to you get 500 bucks if you get 100% customer sat, no one is going to get that. They killed all motivation to do your best. Frontier use to be an alright company to work for. Frontier is very much a who you know environment, if you're looking to advance. They do not base anything anymore off of stats. You'll keep hearing claims about advancement but they'll never happen.

Bad culture & management! Antiquated processes and software tools. Facilities are old and rundown. Printer cartridge supplies require VP approval!
