Pros

Nice benefits after 90 days. Really good perks, bonuses and incentives offered for those obtaining Customer Satisfaction metrics. Monthly and quarterly bonuses to base pay (quarterly can increase/decrease your rate of pay for next quarter, based on overall customer satisfaction scores) Great leadership willing to work with you and are genuinely interested in improving your performance. No pressure to sell/offer/promote any services or products (Main objective do what I takes to help the customer with their reason for calling period! No time constraint or script to read, However the greater feeling you can leave the customer with the more likely you'll get in on the aforementioned incentives and increases to your bottom line. If call centers are something you can handle this will defiantly be a great place for you! Even if you haven't been in a call center before I would still recommend giving it a shot. Many people in my training group had never done call centers and actually really enjoy working at this site.

Cons

This was my first call center job, I figured I would give it a shot with all the promise of upward mobility for their new capital one partnership. I really just couldn't stand eight ours a day on a phone. I realize this is what phone centers are all about but I discovered 5-6 hours was all I could take of helping people with the same exact scenarios day after day hour after hour. Can be a tough first 90 days to get through only 1.5 days are allowed for absences (though if you're performing well they'll make exceptions)

Pros

Good compensation and benefits package.

Cons

The organization was dysfunctional, management demanded EXTREMELY unattainable goals and management was abusive (verbally and emotionally) to their employees. Principals purchased auction properties without performing any prior due diligence and acted as though they were presenting their team with a "clean" land deal, which was hardly the case. Employees were scrutinized and humiliated for not meeting goals based upon the principals outlandish expectations. Extremely unhealthy job and work environment. And hire supervisors and managers who have personal experience with the entitlement, project and construction processes, or at least hire ones with a positive attitude.
