Pros

Good pay, good vacation time, excellent benefits, and Company continues to grow. Management cares for employees wellbeing. Stocks are stable.

Cons

Very difficult to advance within this company. I have held the same position for 15 years and have had no opportunity to advance despite being a top performer.

Pros

20 plus year career. Excellent during the Rochester telephone era. High tech leader in the industry. Incubator for talent. Many RTC leaders, went on to form very successful companies during the CLEC era.

Cons

During the Citizen’s era, the drive for technical excellence took a back seat to a desperate effort to hold on to POTS customers during the 2000's. Very similar to Kodak's misguided attempt to hold onto film sales by suppressing digital.
