Pros

They don't abuse employees. They encourage using whatever resources and interacting with whatever teams to fix goals. They allow you to cross train if interested. They don't focus on failures normally.

Cons

Below average pay(mines hire because I was a transfer) Mediocre to low benefits - high health care, low 401K match. Repeated low moral on employee reviews. No training, minimal process often years old and outdated. Alot of broken process and automation systems issues and interteam communication, that do not get addressed. No response from leadership. They don't recognize achievements. But the largest issue is Employer is tone deaf to employees. People are disengaged because no one ever hears and addresses concerns even when they are "listed" as organizational goals. The largest motivator for people is being part of the companies success. That feeling when you can make a difference. Its hard to get that feeling when you cant even get acknowledgement of your concerns from the management chain all the way up to director/VP level.

Pros

Worked with a mix of experienced and new people, overall the peers you work with are team oriented and the overall experience was positive, you also have the opportunity to work on a number of devices that are widely used in other companies which can help open doors.

Cons

Management was sub-par, lacked basic management skills, very authoritarian and generally mistreated their working staff. People would be favored for promotion that were unqualified and people who were well skilled and deserving were often overlooked due to not being a management favorite.
