Pros

The pay and benefits are reasonable. I believe that the company wants to provide customers with the best service possible.

Cons

There is enormous pressure to cut corners and work as fast as possible to accommodate heavy (sometimes extremely heavy) work-loads day in and day out. The resulting stress has resulted in medical problems and other stress related illnesses among employees and is causing the accident rate to climb. Management believes that "inattention" is the cause of the increased accident rate, but I suggest that "inattention" is merely one of the symptoms of stress. Every day is a race to complete the work that has been handed to us as quickly as possible in order to minimize overtime and get home to our families at a reasonable hour.

Pros

Co-worker support in the office was wonderful and a team effort, until our office was closed and now we are micro-managed from home.

Cons

Ordering/Billing Systems / Salespeople were grossly unprepared to handle the large Enterprise business customers it inherited in the Verizon sale.

Pros

Wage and benefits are decent...that's it! oh and we have a Pepsi machine that's nice and cold!!!

Cons

Upper and mid management with virtually NO technical experience in telephony. Abandoning systems and practices that had been working well. Insisting on running key support systems on mid-1990's AS/400 hardware that's been long since discontinued. AND utterly embarrassing buffalo commercials that are seen by the public as symbolizing "slow, dumb, outdated, ugly, and driven almost to the point of extinction."
