Pros

- Some really talented people throughout organization - Great industry/clients

Cons

- Growing too fast; not paying attention to internal integration of solutions - Organization is not client-centric or proactive - HR department is small and overwhelmed with numerous acquisitions; communication is poor - Executive management is focused solely on growth at the expense of people; not concerned with people development - Company has moved away from pillars; not walking the talk - Silo-type departmental interaction; very little transparency; balls get dropped often

Pros

Company is growing, doing financially excellent, great culture, great management, competitive salaries, bonuses and benefits, and products that have a significant social impact on education in the US.

Cons

With growth comes change. That means changes in organization, process, and priorities. With growth also comes the purchase of other smaller companies. All combined, Frontline is poised to become a much larger company, and that means not acting like a bunch of startup companies. For people that are challenged by change, ambiguity, or maturing process, this company might be a bit of a reach for their talents. And for those that complain about it, it might be time to move on.

Pros

Great group of people to work with While there is a wonderful core of people who built the company, there's also really fantastic people who've come over from acquisitions that are building a new culture and new identity The leadership really values new ideas and fresh thinking in the marketplace While much of the culture is changing as are the core values, this still a very strong and functional culture that makes coming to work every day very enjoyable There is a real respect for people in this company and it shows in how everyone strives to be on one page

Cons

The culture is changing, it's transitioning from being a small company with a dominant culture to a much larger, and high grow oriented, with a much broader crowd from which culture is determined. As a result, I can imagine that Frontline doesn't look anything like it did 2 years ago and I'm sure some would find that frustrating and even offensive.
