Pros

I'll quote another review, I totally agree with the majority of what they wrote; -We just had a HUGE equity payout when we changed ownership last year – it changed the lives of so many! This wasn’t just for the management team. All FT employees received $$$! I have peers who were able to go on nice vacations, pay off their student loan debt or invest in their kids’ future college educations!!! -Work-life balance - the best I've experienced in my career so far. Managers are understanding and flexible. -Beautiful office space with outdoor space. Counting down the winter days until I can have lunch outside by the quarry again. -On-site gym and cafeteria, low insurance costs (best I’ve had!), 401k match, tuition reimbursement – lots of great PERKS! -Amazing culture, supportive co-workers, strong camaraderie – the people are EVERYTHING at Frontline!

Cons

I'm having a hard time seeing reviews where they are blaming "old school" Frontliners and not adaptive to change, rapid growth, being negative. I wasn't going to write a review but that's ridiculous.... People got a great equity payout AND still left, why? Any negative comments I read on here point to the fact that product functionality is not where it needs to be. How can you make a silk purse out of a sow's ear? Any negative comments to executive team and upper management point to the fact that they aren't listening. Why are sales down? Hmmmm, maybe it has to do with the fact the "seamless integration" isn't seamlessly integrating! Why does solving the problem need to take years worth of data metric to point to the issue? If the products functioned correctly and worked with each other, Frontline would be making hand over fist money. Here's a suggestion, fix the functionality of Time and Attendance. You have over 8000 school districts using the Absence side of Time and Attendance. Just think, if you fixed the Time side and made it an easy entry/functional and integrated, all you'd need to do is capture 10-20% of your 8000 customers using your current Cadillac product year-to-year and nothing else and you'd float the business for the next 3-5 years, what district wouldn't want to have a truly integrated payroll functioning solution?

Pros

The flexibility for work/life balance still exists in pockets, and for some teams the option to work from home is available. Lots of hard-working, loyal people in the trenches who make great teammates. Some lower level managers care greatly, even though their power and ability is handicapped at higher levels.

Cons

Bloated and excessive high-level management. Senior leadership has lost touch with the people. Profit is the main and often only focus, but is not shared downward. Benefits used to be good, but are not industry leading any longer. Compensation is poor, below average in many departments. Employees are expendable. Customer needs and interests are less important than ever before.

Executive leadership gone bad...

Pros

Decent office spaces and working conditions. Great employees but misguided by top leadership

Cons

Executive Management hubris, inflated ego driving current decisions based on past success; recently acquired companies are churning customers at 40% and not living up to the acquisition growth targets. Client Sevices & Sales leadership is highly political; Devlopment shop morale is worse than a ‘mid-winter night’ and the backend product integration is coming along as nicely as Trump’s wall between the U.S. and Mexico!
