Frontline has an admirable list of 'core values'

Cons

I was intrigued by the core values, but found that they are not adhered to. Example: work-life balance is a value, but you'll find people sending email at all hours of the day and night, and on weekends. The 'HR' department is a joke - no support for employees. Instead, they encourage employees to join some football pool!

Bought and sold 2 times has bled the company of money and talent

Frontline Educaition was uniquel positioned as a leader in a greenfield marketplace of K12 that desperatly needs integrated cloud HR , Payroll and Accounting automation like Workday and ADP and similar cloud software provide to private sector.

Cons

Sold by Private Equity firms twice in 5 years by aacquisition and increasing sales headcoutn while leaning out the company infrasturture cutting costs to the bone and paying below market wages with no Equity given to anynoe below C-level. This resulted in contiuous Director and Mid level management turnover in marketing, sales, product developent and delivery which surprise resulted in angry customers and poor sales commision opportunity for sales people

There are so many to list - let me start by saying i'm in middle management and have been here for three years. I have a great job and I work for a great company. While no company is perfect I have noticed a few minority posts here that trash the leadership team, and really don't understand what it takes to grow a company from 1 product and about $25M in revenues to a suite of 14 products and approaching $200M in revenues as a market leader. I suppose if you don't want to be part of that success then it is best if you leave. Too bad you can't take the high road in your critique. by the way - it's good you've gone back to the people you started with....good luck with that... The company is open and transparent - and cares about its mission of serving the K12 market. I should point out that a most recent negative post talked about having leadership that comes from education.....how about the founders....did THEY come from education? I think not.....the current leadership team and the extended leadership team does in fact come from education - but also from outside of this vertical market. You need experts on how to scale a company. You need experts on how to acquire companies. You need experts on how to grow a bench of next generation leaders. I'll take this leadership team all day long. Great vision and great values. Oh and by the way, every employee made $$$ when Thoma Bravo acquired the company. not bad! unlimited time off, great workspaces. Best company i've ever work for...

ambitious growth goals....even when some are missed - the growth is amazing. Very fast paced. not great for everyone....
