Pros

There are many learning opportunities, management is not going to help you find them but if you are proactive, take part in them.

Cons

The company is barely profitable even 5+ years after acquisition by FujiFilm. They are oversold start-up companies who are also filled with incompetent management. Promotion only occurs through an entitlement program. The company at all three sites suffers from so many deviations and failures that I would take my business elsewhere.

Pros

Not many. Pay covers my bills I guess but is below industry average. Benefits are average. Work life balance is mostly fine.

Cons

Removed hybrid option because of “low productivity” while also changing PTO accumulation. Recent layoffs impacted ~48 people, then those that were left were blamed for a poor culture and told to figure it out with no guidance. Manufactures brush issues under the rug leading to many recurrent contaminations. Extremely silo’d. Few development opportunities. Promotions don’t really happen. Moving away from micro to mammalian but with no real insight or strategy to share on how they anticipate getting more clients. Boring work. Colleagues do not seem invested in their work.
