Toxic Work Environment. Took the Fun out of Funko

Pros

Get free Pops sometimes; ability to help customers sometimes; email based chat; great trainer and good documentation

Cons

Hours aren't guaranteed when things are slow, 20 hours or less each week for several weeks in the spring. There's still a quota set to meet and pressure to meet it even though I hadn't worked that many hours. A few days after one quota was set, I would get pinged from the manager to raise it again. Nobody talks much to each other, which is a bummer. Thousands of tickets from customers whose packages were damaged. That's a lot of negativity being thrown in your face. Hadn't been there for 90 days before I was being pinged quite often about how my quota was too low. Several people left in 90 days. That speaks volumes.

Pros

Great staff and lower level supervisors. Easy work. LGBTQ friendly Location if you live in or around Buckeye.

Cons

Poor communication from upper management. Promises for beating production goals never delivered. Low moral of coworkers. Promises of promotions and raised never followed through with. Over all lack of organization in every department I have any interaction with. Location if you do not live in Buckeye , AZ

No Fun at all

Pros

The people are the one and only reason to work for this company. And by the people, I mean the little guys.

Cons

The warehouse folks that make Funko their money are rarely considered by upper management. Except for in the random pizza party, pat on the back sort of way. They allow workers to be abused, used for others gain, hire unfit people and put them in positions they aren't qualified for. HR is a joke, absolute garbage. Protect abusers and manipulators and promote a lot of them while they let go of the good people. On top of that, there are no legitimate SOPS in place. The whole warehouse is sloppily run. No customer care is shown, product over people always. Do not recommend. Unless you want daily stress and anxiety, an overflowing plate of nonsense. Oh, also, the responsibility of training under qualified people how to do your job just to have them turn around and breath down your neck. All of this with no opportunity for a raise or a promotion of any kind (unless you're in with the big guys) Funko isn't much fun at all.
