Great employees, but management is very ego-based.

Pros

The employees are great and it is in a nice location right outside of downtown (just don't walk anywhere outside the gates). The building is very nice.

Cons

The management team is very ego-centered. Only their ideas are great and nobody else's, or they take credit for your ideas.

Pros

The company is trying to enhance its culture to be more friendly and welcoming. Pay is average, benefits are nice.

Cons

The Executive Team either has extremely friendly people or extremely fake phonies. That's how much of it is. Certain departments at GTE FCU, now GTE Financial, are awesome and communicate very well. If you are interested in Tech Solutions (IT) or Accounting, you'll get a great team. I was put in a department where there were probably one or two people that I was able to communicate well with. Everyone else was not welcoming, rarely even cared to acknowledge me even if I initiated a greeting or attempted to have a conversation. The culture is trying to expand to be more open, but you still have quite a lot of resistance to this.
