Pros

Great/caring people, flexible work schedules (especially for taking care of family/kids), challenging work, lots of opportunity for growing and learning as much as you want. Also, Galloway is a legacy company which means they have no plans to sell out to one of the big engineering firms, which is a big deal and is rare in this industry.

Cons

A & E firms are always a stressful career regardless of where you go, and this is no different here (but much better than anywhere else I've ever seen or been), how much you like working here can vary depending on your team and the clients you work with (I have a great team and love my clients, others have different experiences than me and seem to be a bit more stressed out and busy)

Pros

Galloway offers flexible scheduling which is incredibly convenient for families. Galloway means it when they say that they want work life balance in their employees and strive to allow them to achieve that. They lift their employees up in their professional lives when their personal lives require it. As someone with children that are medically challenging, I've seen it first hand. They give employees opportunity to grow and succeed and provide resources that facilitate that growth. One only has to rise to the occasion. The management team's integrity impressed me from day one. It has always felt like Galloway has a "do the right thing" attitude regardless of the cost.

Cons

Sometimes to much rope is given to individual employees.

Pros

Receiving a biannual bonus is nice. If socializing with colleagues is a priority you may enjoy working here. The company supports intramural sports teams.

Cons

Popularity is the driving force behind promotions. Family is the number one core value yet the firm places a disproportionate priority on overtime hours. If you're an engineer who enjoys time with family, this is not a good firm. Management want you here 55+ hours week in and week out. The associate program is a joke.
