Pros
The company is merit based, it’s that simple. After many years I have worked my way up and I love my job. I see many people do one detail or one shift and feel they deserve management or a pay raise, sorry but it doesn’t work that way. It’s like the gym, you don’t get fit and in shape after only one visit, you need to stick to it. So much better than government jobs where people do very little work, complain a lot, and still get promoted. Here you work with people who want to be here and most importantly, they help make you better. All true professionals.
Cons
The schedule is tuff and can change at a moments notice. We are like an emergency room and we do have client emergencies that cause change. Although this does happen from time to time, I look at this as a career not a part-time job. You will have more good days than bad, but you do need to understand that the schedule will change from time to time.
