Great place to learn, supportive management

Pros

Great coworkers and highly confident in the supportive management team. Good benefits and 401k. Great company to start healthcare profession in. Clean facility and consistently good ratios for AM shift. Higher pay than other SNFs in area, competitive pay with hospitals. No shortage of work.

Cons

Paid vacation is lacking but understandable. High turnover rate due to nature of job. Negative preconceived outlook of SNFs cause less job satisfaction for a lot.

- many sister facilities in the area - area director will pay for your travel to said sister facilities - OK benefits

Cons

- high productivity - low base pay

Documentation, good people, poor pay

Pros

You can’t take the pros without the cons. Most of the employees are willing to help each other out and it can be a pleasant environment to work.

Cons

Communication between departments can be nonexistent, causing missed schedules, or lack of understanding with patients. They will try to pay you the lowest amount, regardless of how good you are. This is an environment where you have to speak up and make sure your skills are noticed, lest they only increase your pay every year by $0.50.
