      Good technology and growth through acquisition, but major changes with new leadership via Permira

      Pros

      Great technology, though complicated to implement.

      Cons

      New leadership team does not have the contact center background. Most of the quality sales reps and key contributors have left the company over the last 2 years.

      Pros

      Nothing like working for the industry leader. Great hardworking people at Genesys, lots of talent, lots of resources to help you to get your job done. Strong straight-speaking leadership. Recent cloud acquisitions make Genesys feel like a fast moving start-up. If you are smart, hardworking and talented and are bored at your current play, Genesys might be a good fit. And if you're in sales and you can hit it, you can indeed make beaucoup bucks.

      Cons

      Fast moving and first three months are indeed like drinking out of a fire hose. Be ready to put in lots of hours developing domain expertise and figuring out various processes. Good news is you're working with very competent, hard working people who like to win as much as you do.

      Pros

      - As a sales rep, Genesys offers what you want - an opportunity to make money. The product is rock solid and the company is not against its reps doing well. - the company follows a work hard / play hard mentality - execs are very approachable and will work with reps wherever needed to get things done

      Cons

      - due to demand and a recent ramp up of the sales team - resources can be stretched thin. - so much to do! (also filed under pro's)
