It’s the Alzheimer’s and demented pts or any other non cancer pt to level the census and keep them on hospice for as long as they can to make money. They say come die with us while standing in front of a cross. Come to Jesus and die with us. Then they go behind the cross, giggle and count their money with the CEOs. It’s not about taking care of a patient, their families as much as corporate greed. I have been in hospice for over 20 years. I know what I’m talking about. Folks we’ve lost our way. Americans, we owe you an apology just like the Drs, medical systems and death industries do. They too are unethical as they only look for a bottom line. We all make money off of people’s suffering to build our bigger capitolistic houses while the poor sleep in the street on some dirty card board. Everyone in America is one hospital bill away from financial ruin and bankrupt. What happened to cures and the gentle care of the ill. The inflated hospital bills will beat you home in the mailbox. Hospice gives EOBs. It’s paid for by Medicare, Medicaid and other. Hospices have a guaranteed payment system. But for the employee of Curo there is NO hospice benefits.
