      Pros

      Got my own office, had flexible holiday schedules, most of the time I worked on my own without anyone in the office.

      Cons

      Disconnect to other departments, it is like a government no one wants to take responsibility for a situation. Most times you can not even reach others within the university to resolve an issue which can be frustrating.

      Pros

      Higher Education provides a gateway to so many fields. It is one of the few industries that you have the opportunity for cross-disciplinary works. The tuition reimbursement is a huge plus with GWU, the policy allows for strong personal and professional growth.

      Cons

      Lack of diversity in the executive leadership roles on the administrative and faculty side. The work life balance can be hard if you work in student life.
