Unpleasant Work Environment w/ Micro-Managing DO NOT WORK HERE (Registrar's Office)
Pros
The employee benefits are great, with very low tuition if you plan to attend school, along with medical, vision, eye, and dental. The only catch is that the degree that you are pursuing must be related to your position, or you will have to cover the costs of taxes, which can add up and are taken out of your check.
Cons
The leadership and management in this position want people who take orders and are submissive to the demands of a tyrannical supervisor. Micro managing is a true understatement in this position at GW. Not to mention, important or beneficial information is withheld from employees until after the fact. The lack of communication and treatment of employees under the conditions that I've mentioned are what make this place an absolute NO if you are looking for employment within the Registrar's Office.
