Pros

Good pay for the work expected of an individual, very safety concious. Some very good PCTs and team leads that held teams together.

Cons

Toxic employees, management wouldn't remove bad eggs or address issues. Swing shift is terrible for people with mental health issues. Favoritism and "who you know not what you know" Very poor training, depending on your trainer.

Pros

I'm 20+ years into my career and have worked for public and private companies. This is the first company I've worked for where the value espoused are more than a lunchroom poster. GP employees are serious about following the shared Principle Based Management philosophy and guiding principles held across all Koch Industry companies. Respect, Humility, Principled Entrepreneurship - all of it is central to the work we do and most people want to be held accountable to living these principles. I've met the CEO once, and listened to him speak numerous times. He is one of the most approachable, authentic, bright CEOs I've ever met. It's no wonder GP's financial results have been so exceptional.

Cons

There are many people here who've never worked anywhere else. That limits new ideas and innovation. But there has been an influx of new folks given our growth in IT and all of the new initiatives we're implementing, so that is exciting.

Pros

Good benefits along with the ability to work from home. Managers seem very willing to fight for their employees.

Cons

Gaps between teams can cause undue stress and set unreasonable expectations based off of how a person was trained for their particular job. Pay was below average for the position compared to competitors.
