Pros

For most of my time there - innovation, creativity, lots of hard-working, smart people with passion for the business. Used to have great culture and people. Used to be the "best place I had ever worked professionally, financially, and personally," which was their tagline. But dramatic changes in recent years have changed this.

Cons

The company has undergone dramatic changes since the changing of the CEO hired in late 2015. She was great, but all leadership changed, and the culture changed accordingly. It has significantly impacted the culture and the drive of the employees.

Pros

Catered lunch once a month. Wow, how lucky we are.

Cons

-Absolutely no opportunities for growth or development. -Salary is 20k under median income in Chicago, and company has decided not to give raises this year (would have only been about 0.80 raise anyway.) Be prepared to ask yourself questions like "Do I eat tonight or be late on rent?" "Can I really afford a loaf of bread right now?" "What am I doing with my life?" -Management does not care about you, your goals, or your professional development. They'll say they are "working on it," but that's usually just a way to end the conversation. -No work/life balance if you're starting as a CSM. You'll work 10-7pm with no flexibility. You'll go to work, go home to sleep, and then go back to work. That's your life.

Pros

- Work/Life Balance: For the most part, this is a 40 hour job. If you work any more than this amount, it's definitely not worth it - Top-down management style. Directors and above have a cushy life

Cons

- Top-down management style. A lot of people telling the "worker bees" what to do, but not enough "do-ers" who actually get the work done - No career path - Lack of consistency across various organizations - people often are confused about goals and company strategy - Company doesn't reward the right behavior
