- The internal team I work with are fantastic - Job flexibility is good - Salary is ok - but not the best

Cons

- All promotions have been cancelled this year, thanks to poor performance from the business development team. (Why should R&A and other teams suffer thanks to their incompetence). - Does not reward the top performers. Even if you contribute and add value, that means nothing to senior management. - R&A team treated like monkeys and paid in peanuts despite a strong product offering. - Sales team treated above R&A, even if they underperform - R&A suffers

Lovely people, especially the commercial directors & sales directors (not c-suites!) Good for learning Good product to sell.

Cons

Pay isn’t good enough compared with other similar roles There are definitely some favourites + internal politics. Imagine working a deal for a more senior guy to kick up a fuss internally and then steal. Very bad rap for the aggressive sales methods of GlobalData within the pharmaceutical industry. CEO of pharma stated “I don’t talk to sales guys” - again very sad state of affairs. This is the same CEO that also wants to review every potential sale made.
