Pros

work from home / hybrid option severance after being laid off

Cons

the culture has changed so much, as well as the commission and pay. They make it impossible now to make a descent commissions I remember making 70k my first years 82 the next and by the third year it was downhill from there 60k and less and less every year after they went public, They are constantly playing with the bonus structure but can never seem to get it right. They say you can grow within the company but more so as team leads and management everything is lateral good luck learning new skills or help in developing in other areas of the business.

We appreciate you taking the time to write a review. Over the past few years, our team has worked diligently to increase the bonus structure and we have not imposed constant commission cuts, nor do we have a commission cap. We encourage all of our employees to reach out to a leader or HR manager if they need guidance on a particular issue. We are committed to hearing all employee feedback, and will continue improve the experience and benefits for all employees.

Pros

Decent job for new workers: If you're just starting out in the workforce, this company could be a good place to gain experience and learn new skills. Good benefits: The company offers good benefits to its employees, which could include health insurance, paid time off, retirement plans, and more.

Cons

Overwhelming metrics: The company has a lot of metrics to keep track of, which can be difficult to manage. Even if you are not computer savvy, your leader will find a way to hold you accountable for your work through paperwork. Corporate culture: The company seems to have a corporate culture that values loyalty and drinking the "Kool-Aid", while ignoring real issues such as underpaid employees. Lack of transparency: The company's leaders do not address the real issues, which can be frustrating for employees. Lack of privacy: The company monitors its employees' conversations on Slack and other platforms, which can create a culture of mistrust and paranoia. Low pay and commission rates: The company pays its employees low wages and provides low commission rates, which can be demotivating for new employees. Layoffs and paycuts: The company has a history of random layoffs and paycuts, which can be unsettling for employees who are trying to build a stable career. Lack of support for personal or family-related issues: The company is not accommodating when it comes to sick leave or bereavement leave, which can be a major source of stress and dissatisfaction for employees dealing with personal or family-related issues. This can ultimately affect their performance and morale.

Our Customer Development guides, have tremendous income potential depending upon their impact to our customers. Our guides are well-trained and have a lot of autonomy to help our customers succeed. In order to help hone their mastery of customer excellence, all guides have regular one-on-one sessions with their leader, team meetings and team huddles. We do have minimum performance standards that all guides are expected to meet or exceed and, if someone needs help, we coach them to improvement. And yes, we have some great contests from time to time. :)
