Pros

Awesomeness abounds! Working on a product that legitimately helps people is super cool. Also, we seem to be a rare case where the company's (and investors) desire to grow and become bigger aligns well with our goal of continually improving the platforms ability to help people. As the company grows it continues to hire really smart people who are also empathetic and sensitive to the user base. I'm working with some of the smartest people in my 10 years of startup experience and they're *nice*, too.

Cons

There are high expectations for everyone at the company. Not a good place to come if you're looking to coast.

Pros

The culture here is amazing, and the management team does not micromanage. There is plenty of autonomy to work on projects. There are amazing opportunities to grow professionally and so many chances to gain new skill sets. If you are driven, focused, down to earth, and a genuine person who really cares for others, you will love working here. We also get spoiled here - the best ergonomic chairs, stand-up desks, open office space, free lunch and snacks and drinks every day. We listen to cool music in the office and we have plenty of fun things around the office we can do to unwind.

Cons

The work can be hard on your emotions. It's tough reading so many sad stories each day, but it's definitely worth it. Also, if you don't want to stare at a computer for 40 hours a week, this job won't be for you.

Pros

Amazing team, culture, mission, work/life balance, and exec team. The work is challenging and I feel real personal/professional growth in my role. There are also phenomenal mentorship opportunities here.

Cons

The current work space is a bit cramped, however we are moving to a larger space in Redwood City soon.
