'feel good' work, great middle management, some solid co-workers.
Cons
This company doesn't seem to know what they are doing. Many start and stop projects. Constant restructuring, exceptionally high turn over, and a bad reputation within the social work community. Poor compensation, astoundingly low raises, and a flat out lies by upper management. I checked in with former co-workers there, and everyone is (still) wondering if they will have a job next week. Same as it's ever been. It's a treacherous, uncertain environment and nobody knows if the programs we spend time implementing today will even be supported tomorrow. In short, executive leadership has a history of appearing inept and clueless and most of us wonder what they are thinking when we see the results of their decisions. The cultural values they profess are just more of the same lip service. Laying people off suddenly and in large groups leaves huge gaps the remaining employees have to fill. Nobody trusts executive leadership.
