Pros

Good products. Flat rate is ok.

Cons

I seldom get paid warranty work. Lots of red tape for employees. A half hour of work before you can even start on the car. Too much info to fill out on inspection forms.

A Blessing and a curse....

Pros

Excellent salary and benefits for workers lacking education. Potential to advance to salary positions if you have the required qualifications.

Cons

Poor work and personal life balance. Workers are expected to have a one percent or less yearly absence rate, which averages out to three days a year. There are no exceptions to the policy(except for deaths in the family, military, jury duty, etc.) Salaried employees work mandatory overtime and often work many 12 hour shifts with no time off. The technology within the plant is outdated, especially concerning inventory and production. Senior management do not listen to employees' suggestions for improving operations.

Pros

Opportunity to change a dysfunctional company
