Pros
Benefits were good when I was there, but starting to take a hit since it could impact the bottom line in a positive way.
Cons
I have never reviewed any company I worked for in any way on any forum, but I must pass my experience on to anyone looking at this company as a place of work or for a career. Investment company is looking to sell it. Which means doing anything to make the bottom line look good. Regular reduction in force, which is surprising since people are leaving this company quickly on their own. They are in the process of moving all IT jobs offshore. CEO is remote and is focused on marketing the company to sell, not building it up. Huge turnover. Huge morale issue. Micromanagement is out of control. Which is crazy when you think about it. They tell you almost line by line what to write, what the requirements are, how to implement and even what to say to other team members/departments. In and of itself that's not good, but then when it fails, this same management will blame the individuals they gave this direction to. I've seen it happen to more of my colleagues than I care to imagine. Recent changes. 3 years ago it was a good company, so if you talk to someone that worked there then, it will have a good review. But after they were bought, things have changed quickly and in a very bad way. My advice...do not take a job here if you can avoid it.
