Pros

GovCIO is growing quickly, and has some of the most interesting and challenging contracts at VA today. If you want to do your job well and excel in your career, there are a lot of opportunities for you to grow yourself in different roles. People, especially leadership, are incredibly helpful when you ask for something like help with a proposal or mentoring for junior staff members.

Cons

With rapid growth have come growing pains. There is less top-down communication than there used to be, and some people feel isolated. Though operations are working on better tools and knowledge management, this has lagged. Still, the answers are there for those who go looking.
