Pros

The people are great (depending on leader). PTO Room to move up then relocate. Offer one stop shop. #1 Industrial Supplier

Cons

TOO EXPENSIVE. Online platform needs help . Constant leadership changes. Expect micro management! Goals are never explained in a manner that makes (Market) sense. Oil & Gas is down so they are loosing money and it's caused people to micro manage. I could go on and on!

Sinking ship

Pros

Great benefits, health/dental/vision, profit share.

Cons

Grainger is a sinking ship. People are getting laid off or demoted just to save costs for the stock holders. Grainger used to be a fun place to work and was enjoyable every day. But now it is dreadful. Morale is low, co-workers are being let go, there is no communication from upper management. Just terrible.

Pros

Good WTF policy and that's about it.

Cons

*Benefits have dropped and some have been eliminated. *Profit sharing is now at the same level for everyone instead of based on tenure, which is a nice message to send to those of us that have been loyal to the company! *Wages are crap compared to the market. *Grainger is getting rid of anyone with tenure and replacing them with cheaper labor, including outsourcing to Panama.
