Grange recently outsourced almost all of IT. Only a handful of people in GTS (IT) are still Grange employees. The majority were let go. The people not let go are no longer Grange employees - they now work for Orion Innovation (managed Service Provider). The move has been called IT Transformation and a few other things. If you are truly proud of what you did and "Did the right thing" (Grange core value), call it what it really is. Outsourcing! Outsourcing! Outsourcing! The people let go were loyal, high-performing, contributing, team members with 100's of years of combined service and experience. I feel sorry for the people left behind to pick up the pieces and train the Orion consultants replacing their coworker who were let go.

The IT department does not know what they’re doing. Constant system problems involving thin client and core 4 which is a new system we are rolling out. The billing has been inaccurate and a disaster for almost a year with no end in sight.
