      Pros

      Granicus is solving a real problem that resonates well with customers ,if we can communicate clearly.

      Cons

      Sales leadership is unable to hit their numbers or successfully complete any of their enablement initiatives, instead of taking accountability for their own actions they clearly blame the sales force while not taking the time to understand the challenges we are facing. A scaled comp plan was introduced with a punitive tone, company does not recognize the amount of work that goes into selling multiple products in a new way. Culture went from one of employee recognition and collaboration to one of finger pointing (accountability measures) and fear.

      Great place to learn the SaaS Industry and gain experience to move on somewhere else

      -Great Product -Incredible work/life balance with PTO/Holiday Schedule -Culture was great when everything was in office (downhill since covid) -Strong place for introduction/experience to SaaS industry -Some great managers throughout the org -Transparent and caring CEO

      Cons

      -Pay/Compensation is severely lower than the rest of SaaS industry -Being owned by an private equity firm makes things difficult for needed changes and employee appreciation -For example: best sales year ever in 2020 + money saved from remote work and no EOY bonus or anything to show thanks to employees -Alarmingly high turnover rate for every single department -Whether you’re a top performer or not, it’s hard to advance your career and be trusted by upper management -CEO talks about hot button topics which can be good but it brings politic conversations into regular conversations and meetings in the workplace too often

      Operations is a joke

      Pros

      If it's your first position in software, you will learn a lot. There is tuition reimbursement and the usual benefits at a big company.

      Cons

      Operations managers will literally lie to your face about your opportunities. Then, once the game is found out, they will literally gaslight you and make it feel it your fault you are not going anywhere in this company.
