Pros

—Flexible Time off —It's a job

Cons

Where do I even begin? —Zero organizational structure —Zero transparency —Absolutely chaotic work environment —HR lies through their teeth —Shameless upper management —Acquires companies and lays people off —Unethical outsourcing to developing countries to pay lower wages —Zero interest in clients or customers —Dismally low wages for US based employees —Rampant federal labor law violations —No job security —Big-brother-style monitoring of work laptops —Directionless —Lies and lies and lies and lies —Upper management is full of cowards —No one likes working here. People are just putting up with it until they find something better.

Pros

- Can work from home, people respect PTO - Nice coworkers

Cons

- Many products lag behind competition; expect Granicus to continue to lag behind as competitors catch up. - Firing / laying off employees and placing their responsibilities onto others with no pay increase. Several people in my team are doing multiple roles and I don't expect this to change anytime soon, even if we start hiring (which we're not). - Pay lags behind industry, and it's not going up anytime soon. Granicus is cutting costs everywhere it can - Rare promotions, and we've seen promotions that don't come with a pay raise

Pros

- They offer alright benefits, but use Dental and Vision insurance nobody has heard of or accepts. - Employees can work from home full time with no obligation to go into an office. - There's reimbursement for some work from home expenses.

Cons

- They just fired dozens of employees to replace them with new hires from Costa Rica and India in order to look better as a buyout target. None of these new hires were even trained first, so now the remaining experienced employees have double or triple workloads. - There was no thought given to who was let go. They fired some very essential and high performing employees, but kept newer and less skilled workers. - They're disorganized in onboarding the employees of the companies they acquired. - The switch-over to their own software had many issues that left clients frustrated and employees unable to do their work.
