Epic system, clean building, up to date technology, rn to patients ratio is fixed.

Poor management, unfair assignments, low salary, no diversity, no room for growth.

Pros

Leadership is strongly committed to improving the quality of care. There is great teamwork within the department as well as among departments. A lot of opportunity for growth as an employee is available including tuition reimbursement and an internal leadership program.

Cons

Specific to my job... I'm required to take heavy call, occasional overnight work, and often more than 40 hours a week on an exempt salary. Usually not too bad, but can become frustrating.
