It’s a stable job if you can tolerate the management and administration.

Cons

The culture of the hospital is very poor, nurses are very much treated as lower class of employees. The pay is terrible, bullying by managers and physicians is tolerated, when taking appropriate steps to report bullying, targeting, and intimidation, HR and chain of commands fail to respond. Unfortunately it’s the only hospital in the region and some nursing staff feel they have no other employment options. Anyone who has ever worked at another facility knows this is not a a good or normal way for staff to be treated.
