Pros

Plenty of parking (except when trainings are going on) Decent restaurants nearby for lunch some really smart people work here

Cons

* Hard to move the needle and get work done without the tools in place to do a job * disorganized leadership and unclear direction/KPIs/expectations * very little diversity across leadership and none in the C-suite/boardroom * a culture of "extreme ownership" with no clarity on what you own * unequal compensation scales * back and forth on guidance about onsite/hybrid/remote - some people seem to get it and others get reprimanded * really, isn't the term "tribe" a bit troublesome? ". ‘Tribe’ can be offensive to many people due to the violence, colonialism and history associated with its meaning. It’s a word that has been used to marginalize indigenous communities, failing to recognize their history and their oppression. " * people are constantly in CYA mode versus growth and trial mode. * I honestly couldn't trust anyone to have my back or not throw me under the bus, in fact, I'm still reflecting on the tire tracks from how many times I was thrown under the bus.

Pros

Software is managed by $0 investment.

Cons

Make sure to have a big salary & bonus right away because technology team member at this place need to cover all the duties of developer, devops, dba, db developer , architect, QA, Business analyst, manager , CTO etc for rest of the life without a raise. Lot of unplanned work will be handled overnight and mention it to be "Agile" . Expect a quality software from $0 investment. No interest by leadership group to learn about the software or discuss/talk to the team . Technology team is literally ran by the non technical people who have zero knowledge and plays heavy politics towards technology team members. Vision of the software is on papers and expect everything to be built overnight. My advise is travel 3 hours either to DC/Raleigh to find a better technology job at better company and peacefully you can love your job .

Pros

Restaurants for lunch near by. Benefits are ok.

Cons

The only reason you should choose Groundworks over another company to work for is if you are entry level or absolutely need the job. There are tons of companies with better culture, work-life balance, managers , and pay. Alot of nepotism within the company which tends to breed dishonesty and unfairness. I've seen many very talented people quit within a few weeks which is eye-opening. Just google for open jobs of your position and you will find much better companies to grow with.
