Call Center Agent

Pros

The pay is fair compared to other call centers in the Houston area; you get your own work space with a personal computer and phone line; occasionally the company will host pot lucks, raffles, and other fun events in the Service Development Center

Cons

The team leads are very unprofessional; it is a small amount of call center agents so you work your entire shift especially on Monday mornings; team leads and upper management gossip about agents all of the time; there is no such thing as privacy everyone knows everyone business even if you only tell HR about a medical issue somehow other staff members will know everything and gossip about it; It is a lot of micromanaging and a high turnover rate; limited room to grow within the call center

Pros

Training program good, company benefits good.

Cons

Individual management in dealerships poor, no coordination with corporate training program and what is actually being used. Failure to train individual sales staff on internal issues or process expect you to learn it on your own or from another sales person. New people are used as errand boys and are openly ridicule instead of proper consultations. Advertised a sign on bonus from a national recruiting company then said it was an error. HR does not have any idea what management tells staff only there to do paperwork. Pay plan is not followed manager changes from commission to training pay what ever benefits the store. Sales staff that has been longer are not held to the same standards or allowed to do what ever they want by management.
