Pros

People in my team are very nice and helpful

Cons

Pay is definitely under average and many perks were cancelled. The business is falling from the cliff and I am really worried about the future of Groupon. The decline continues and it's impossible to reach the ROI management requires. The budget for marketing is shrinking as well.

First 3 months were nice, then it was getting worse and worse.

Pros

- good onboarding training - maybe good for a start in customer service for a student

Cons

- multiple promotions without raise during 3 years - trainings for changing position or new tools were getting worse and worse over 3 years so it was more self-learing - management team do not really listen advises from people who actually work with the product - bad communication - changes from day to day without notice - PTO limitations so you have to struggle a lot to get it when you want - merging 2 positions in 1 (so you have job of two people now) and saying it is the same job level and no extra money - mockery

Still a great business model, but a clear strategy is missing

Pros

- Very much freedom in how to structure your work, as long as deadlines are met - At least in my org, I was always supported by my managers to strive for the best

Cons

- Performance isn't great lately, but that is due to a missing strategy. - There is the feeling that too many people in important positions are there, because they inherited the position, not because they are qualified for it
