Pros

I worked at GNS (Guardian Network Solutions) for almost 3 years and I can honestly say that it was one of the best jobs I have ever had. The work environment there pushed me to be better and allowed me to be in the position I currently hold for a different company. The management staff is honest and will set you up for success as long as you are willing to put in the work. GNS is a great company if you are looking to start a career in sales, because the management team there, focuses on helping you strengthen and fine tune your sales skills. Goals are assigned based on your sales ability and are made attainable. ( Meaning you might actually have to work to achieve your goal.) I was able to hit my sales goals month in and month out and I was rewarded handsomely with my commission. Base pay offered is pretty high compared to other sales job around the DFW area. This job is perfect for people that don't mind working hard and are willing to be held accountable for their work

Cons

End of month/ quarter is very stressful but what sales job isn't around that time? Time off was hard to come by not because it wasn't approved but because if I wasn't there closing deals I wasn't getting closer to hitting my goal.

Pros

Managers care about you and are easy to discuss any issues with. Despite it being a sales job you have a great base pay that offers cushion room. The environment is very team oriented, and coworkers are willing to help. Everyone is very friendly and easy to get along with. Overall, it is a great entry level job.

Cons

There is not much time off, but that is often a given in sales.

Pros

I can't think of any pros!

Cons

The culture and environment are terrible. The rules changed at the owner's whim, monthly, including compensation and quotas. If you want to never feel that you are accomplishing anything, this is the place for you. Very small fish in a huge pond.

When someone does not succeed at GNS we try to find a position that will fit them best. Sometimes an individual moves from New Account Management to Renewals or even Sr. Renewals Specialist. When they are moved positions their pay can go up or down based on whether they moved up in the company or to a position with less responsibilities. We choose to try a struggling individual in multiple positions instead of just letting them go for not succeeding in the first position they were hired for.
