Hard Working, Fun Loving

Pros

GuidePoint has a passionate, enthusiastic, and genuine leadership team that sets the tone for the rest of the company. Working here allows for flexible working conditions and schedule. Employees have the opportunity to impact the methodology and trajectory of a growing leader in Information Security. There is unheard of transparency into financial progress and senior leadership decision making.

Cons

GuidePoint is still a "start-up" atmosphere with all the challenges, growing pains, and added stress that comes with it. Cultural inconsistencies across a few small pockets of the company that still need to be worked out / corrected.

Horrible Experience - Most Unprofessional Company

Pros

I enjoyed working with some of the people.

Cons

The other people were extremely unprofessional, don't take responsibility for things that go wrong, and don't provide any type of training or guidance when it is needed.

GuidePoint Security Response

It's disheartening to hear that a former employee has had such a negative experience. At GuidePoint Security, accountability is something expected from all employees, not just management. Management training is regularly provided and encouraged throughout the year on a wide range of subjects. We also regularly survey our employees in an attempt to identify any areas which need attention before problems arise. As a company that prides itself in our culture, we are constantly striving to make our employees' work experience enjoyable. While alcohol is provided at a limited number of events, our code of conduct prohibits its consumption in a manner than negatively affects our employees. We encourage anyone who has concerns over corporate events to reach out to Human Resources.
