Working for Guidepost is like being part of the best team that both challenges and supports you along the way. It’s like a family. Our team is professional, rare in an early education setting, but we are very collaborative. We work together and have fun doing it! The very best times are the times that we celebrate the success that we have achieved and laugh at the funny moments that arise along the journey. I love working with a team that strives to bring their best every day and inspires me to do so too. Hearing the rave reviews of our parents and seeing our students thrive makes all the hard work more than worthwhile. Dynamic, challenging and fun sums it all up!
Cons
At Guidepost the desire to be the best at all we do can be a lot of pressure. Perfection is not expected but we are always working towards it. It is hard work! On the flipside, it is also awesome! I have never worked so hard or had so much fun. Every day is a full day and no two days are alike. If you like slow, steady and predictable every day, this is not the place for you. If you are unwilling to pitch in outside of your "job description", this is not the place for you. If you are happy with mediocrity, this is not the place for you. If you are eager to be part of a growing company that is always looking for ways to be better, this is the place for you! Being part of Guidepost has made me a better educator, leader and person.
