Pros

If you are looking to be part of a growing group of people that collaborate and work together to preserve and expand quality Montessori and at the same time innovate to make Montessori available to more children, then Guidepost Montessori is the ideal organization for you. Although all Guidepost Montessori schools share the same high quality standards and strongly collaborate between each other, each school is unique and each member is respected and treated as an individual, this applies to children, parents and all staff members.

Cons

As Montessori guides, one of our goals is to develop in our children a true love for learning and in order to do that, we should model that ourselves, by observing, exploring and continue to have dynamic learning experiences throughout our lives, which translates into investing time and commitment for personal growth and professional development. This is an important aspect that you should be ready for, if you are looking to be part of Guidepost Montessori.

A School that Cares

Pros

I have worked in Montessori education for over 12 years, and have never seen a school so committed to its students and staff. The amount of training, professional development, and support I’ve received is, quite frankly, staggering. My supervisors are amazing leaders who empower me to make decisions, encourage me to try new things, and are always there as thought partners when I’m struggling through a challenge. My colleagues are inspiring, and I get to meet and share best practices with administrators across all the Guidepost schools every week. They are an amazing group of school leaders! I began a career in education because I wanted to impact future generations, to help students learn, grow, and become their best selves. Here at Guidepost, I’ve found an organization that is 100% dedicated to the same mission. All the classrooms have the full range of authentic Montessori materials, most of which are brand new. There are Montessori Mentors that help me support the classrooms by offering observations, trainings, webinars, and feedback sessions with teachers. And the teachers light up my day as much as our families. Their warmth, thoughtfulness, and deep care for our students is something to be treasured. I’m grateful for finding Guidepost Montessori, and plan to carry out my life’s work with this incredible team.

Cons

There is a lot to learn and a lot of work to do! This isn't for someone who is looking for a comfy, predictable, easy, "I've got this all down" kind of job. But I enjoy the challenge and couldn't ask for better guides.

Great Colleagues and Growing Schools

Pros

Guidepost Montessori and its staff are committed to providing high quality authentic Montessori education. It's exciting to be a part of a new school and a growing organization and to contribute to a culture of excellence. I value my colleagues and working tirelessly alongside each other as we aim to provide the best for both children and parents. They also provide great benefits for enrolling your own children in the school and opportunities for career growth.

Cons

It's hard work. There's a high bar and you'll be pushed to develop yourself, which is a positive, but can be the wrong place for those who aren't looking for growth and taking on challenges.
