Nice culture, heading in the wrong direction.

Pros

-In general, but mostly stemming from past practices, the company has a good culture at its heart. -Hiring standards are high, so at the non management level there is little to no ineptitude. And a core of people that take pride in their work.

Cons

-No strong direction. Constantly changing goals and priorities. -Just bought a company with an identical product, a once on premise solution hoisted into the cloud. -Current focus is on the agile process looking good on paper and the quarters looking good, not on the products looking good or working correctly. -Slowly but surely many facets of the company are being offshored to new divisions in other countries. -Groups generally seem disheartened. Work and priorities are decided between political battles of middle management.

Pros

Most people in the upper management are very caring . No red tape. Good work life balance. CFO and CEO is great . Most people are very friendly.

Cons

HR sucks . No intent to build a better cutlure and environment , ignoring inappropriate , unfair treatment to retaliate employees who complains about a problem. They just try to protect the company by covering it up. Management is overall good but except for a few who is entirely not professional and getting personal, abusing their power as there are areas where there are no policy set and up to manager discretion. Title in this organization is not commensurate with thier skill set. Some Senior directors just know so little about their area of responsibility. They rely heavily on consultants and make decisions based on common sense even it the area involves laws and high scrunity by external auditors. This is very risky . Be careful, when they promise you anything during the interview and hiring process, they can be reverted any time and the excuse they have is "things change and there is no need for a policy"

Pros

Great benefits, nice co-workers who do try and help. Some leaders here really do try!

Cons

- Job you get may not be what you thought you interviewed for! - Hybrid environment means you're punished if you want to work remotely! - Very command and control culture (not agile environment at all) - Lots of good "talk" from sr. management but little action to back it up when it comes to fixing things/making things better
